Well I woke up this morning to find no updates from any Traffic Exchanges, so I thought this would be a great time to update my top 5 list.
I was planning to change it a week after New Years, however my click-through rates were dismal and I didn’t think it was fair to judge my results based on such a small amount of traffic. I stretched out testing to 3 weeks and now the picture has gotten very clear and consistent.
See what has been working for me recently by clicking on the “My Favorites” Link in the menu. There were a lot of changes and I think one of my higher converting exchanges may surprise some of you.
Blue-Surf has just had their website redesigned with a new look. The template was done by Justin Ledvina’s Shark Studio, which is a popular destination for traffic exchange related graphics.
Personally, I will miss Blue-Surf‘s old design for its simplicity and fast loading time. But the change is welcome and should help bring more interest to the growing exchange.
From January 23 – 24, Hit2Hit will have its power surf on for a higher surf ratio!
Hit Pirate has turned on its treasure surf, which means increased surf ratios for all members! It will last for 24 hours.
Savvy Clicks is doubling the surfing bonus. Normally you get 1-3 credits for every 6 pages surfed, but instead you can win up to 6 credits! Even with all the news about Trafficera lately, this is a great day to stock up on credits at Savvy Clicks.
Trafficera has announced they will be doing upgrades today at 3:00 P.M. PST. As stated in their e-mail update, you will get the following for upgrading:
1) higher surf ratio
2) bonus credits every month through our loyalty program
3) ability to promote more websites in the surf network
4) earn a higher PV from surfing and referring which helps in the member ranks and also helps your team!
5) huge discounts when you purchase traffic (will more than pay for the membership fee)
6) ability to become a splash page publisher and earn a lot of credits from your own website
7) more credits for promoting your “splash” referral link
and the list goes on and on … (refer to the membership options table and other info on the site)
Also, if you upgrade within 48 hours, you will get additional bonus credits as well! A Gold upgrade will net you 2,500 credits, and a Platinum upgrade gets 5,000 credits. The prices for each membership is steep compared to most traffic exchanges:
However the biggest reason to upgrade is that the first week of ranks will be based on how early you upgrade. The higher your position, the more tokens you can earn to use in the marketplace. Member ranks will normally be based on your PV, however upgrading early will give you a great position for the first week only.
Don’t forget to upgrade early at Trafficera if you planned to do it, it appears there are some great incentives to do so.
