Recently there has been discussion at the NetMarketingForum about Test Hoopla and its reporting of Top Traffic Exchanges. Because the list is primarily based on a traffic exchange’s ability to deliver traffic, some are claiming the list to be ineffective.

These claims are understandable, because ultimately the most important attribute a user looks for is results. Test Hoopla focuses on delivery numbers, but not on other information such as click-through rates, sign ups, growth rate of the exchange, and other valuable information. Bill Carr, owner of Test Hoopla, mentions that it’s difficult to accurately measure numbers it cannot confirm.

Traffic delivery is certainly important to evaluate an exchange. At one point when I used TrafficSwarm, I had an abundant amount of credits that were taking too long to be delivered. While the results were great when my website was actually shown, the majority of my credits were not being used.

The lesson to be learned from this is that the many lists we look at should be used as a guide to help us. Definitely use the reputable lists as a resource to help you, but also run your own tests and find out what works best for YOU.

Only a day ago it was reported that HelpHits has facing a bit of scrutiny for particular problems such as the ability to pay out generous referral fees and the One-Time-Offer script. Although only time will tell if HelpHits will be successful, Michael Coursey, the owner has been credited with taking the criticism well and listening to the suggestions made by other Traffic Exchange owners, such as Tim Linden, Paul Kinder, Soran Jordensan, and Franscisca Kruissink.

While there is not a significant change with regard to the traffic exchange HelpHits itself, it is delight and important to note an owner displaying the right attitude and positioning his exchange for success. You can view the forum thread with all of its plot twists at:

HelpHits has recently launched and is going the route of DragonSurf and offering $1 per referral, PLUS a generous $1 bonus for registering as a member! While DragonSurf had an amazing relaunch, it hasn’t gone as smoothly for HelpHits due to the lack of name recognition that new owner Michael Coursey has.

Some traffic exchange users and owners have questioned his ability to payout his fees and lack of a true OTO script. Coursey has shown good intentions early by answering those questions quickly and in a respectful manner. You can find the forum thread at:

Let’s wish HelpHits and Michael Coursey the best in getting a great start for the new year!
