Did You Know...
Blue-Surf has an "Average Surf" bonus, where if you surf more than the average amount of pages surfed by members the previous day, you get a credit bonus!

Click Ranch has recently celebrated its 4,000th member. However they are obviously not satisfied with that, and will be changing servers in 2-3 days to accommodate further growth. Expect some downtime during this period.

With the server change, a new design will also be installed. You will just have to wait to see it. Some other notable news at Click Ranch:

  • The Startpage now has a timer when it loads, giving more value to the buyers of the startpage.
  • Members can now PM their whole downline at once. Previously this was not available due to a bug.

Finally, Click Ranch will be involved in a big contest coming in the middle of February with several other Traffic Exchanges. No news yet on who is participating or how the event will work.

Early this morning it was discovered that HitsConnect, a popular tracking tool, was down after some routine maintenance. The server has been fixed now and is running well again.

It looks like this will be a busy weekend for surfers, as Savvy Clicks is also giving out double bonus credits!

Owner Harry Nguyen also gave a tip for his members that I think everyone should note. At many traffic exchanges, you are able to set the maximum number of hits you want delivered to your URLs each day. Sometimes people will set this number at 10-20 credits, which is too small to get positive results. With surfing activity at Savvy Clicks reaching new heights, this is a great time to show people your sites and get them interested in your offers! Savvy Clicks has recently been delivering 100-150 hits per url per day.

Blue-Surf has just added some new referral tools to help you get more from the affiliate program. First, which I also considered odd, was the absence of a direct referral link to the homepage. Before, Blue-Surf referral links sent people to a splash page, which then linked to the homepage. Now you have a direct link that will send people straight to the homepage.

5 new banners were also added to promote Blue-Surf.

If you have ever surfed at StartXchange, you will know that it is one of the cleanest traffic exchanges on the Internet. To this day the worst I have ever run into was a frame breaker, and even that is incredibly rare to see at StartXchange. Owner and programmer of StartXchange, Tim Linden, is asking his members’ opinions on whether to open up the site scanner as a service to other traffic exchanges.

The downside is that the feature would no longer be exclusive to StartXchange, and being known as one of the cleanest exchanges on the internet is a powerful attraction.

On the plus side, having the site scanner open to other owners for a fee will create cleaner traffic exchanges for everyone. Although this question went out to members in his forum, Linden is very active here at TEscoop, so leave a comment if you want to your voice heard on this issue if you aren’t already a member of StartXchange.

Genie Traffic, a new traffic exchange owned by Jack Schafer, had a solid launch. However this week someone hacked the server and installed a hidden Iframe on the homepage. Genie Traffic‘s host updated the server to prevent this from happening again and those changes caused someone problems with the traffic exchange script. As a result, users were unable to log in yesterday.

These problems were all taken care of quickly and everythig is running smoothly again. To my knowledge, no accounts appear to be affected by this ordeal. If you experienced differently, please let us know.

Hopefully this does not occur again in the future.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know the news will be slow today. I live in Northern California where we are having a major storm. I’ve been without electricity all morning and it just turned on a little while ago. Everyone that I know of personally is doing fine at the moment in case you are wondering. Stay safe everyone!

AdvertisingKnowHow has changed their surfbar sometime within the last week. To my knowledge this change was unannounced.

For those unfamiliar with the old surf bar, it would scroll onto the page in random places. Personally I did not like surfing there due to the slower loading times, buttons hiding on certain websites, plus it obscured the view of websites you were viewing.

The surfbar is now stationary like most other exchanges, which eliminates all of the problems I just mentioned. I feel this is a great change for AdvertisingKnowHow and makes it much more user friendly than in the recent past.

If you didn’t like AdvertisingKnowHow before, I highly recommend you give it another chance. With strong delivery, some great features, and the improved surfbar, I know I will be spending a lot more time here.

Tim Linden recommended that I make a page listing all of my “Did You Know” items, so I did! You can find it on the menu to your right.

With so many great traffic exchanges, it’s important to mention all of the great little features that each one has. If you will notice above, I have added a small “Did You Know” section that will update with an interesting little fact every time the page loads!

Sometimes these little features aren’t newsworthy when they have been around for so long, but it deserves just as much attention.

I am a complete novice when it comes to PHP, so I had a tough time getting this working correctly. I hope you enjoy it! Hopefully this will broaden your knowledge of the many great features and happenings with the traffic exchange industry!
