Did You Know...
Savvy Clicks has a memory game that helps BRAND its sponsors!

Surf4theEarth has a few notable announcements today. First, there will be a contest running with several other exchanges where you can claim prize pages for surfing. There will actually be tangible prizes (for U.S. and Canada Residents), including Starbucks Gift Certificates, Barnes and Noble Gift Certificates, jar candles, cocoa, and m&m’s. If you are not in those areas, you can also get other prizes such as credits, text/banner impressions, upgrades, and featured site ads. The participating traffic exchanges include:

The HitsConnect site checker has also been added, meaning a better surfing experience for you. It will also remove sites that are not loading, which saves you credits if your hosting server goes down temporarily.

Tim Linden over at StartXchange has added another great feature. You can now rate the pages that you see while surfing. As an incentive to do so, you will get activity points added towards your rankings.

What truly makes this feature great is that you can see how well your peers rate the websites that you are promoting. If the people you are advertising to don’t like your ad, it is vital that you find out so you can improve your pages. If you enjoy surfing at StartXchange, please do others a favor and rate their pages. You will benefit with activity points (which helps your surf ratio) and help someone else at the same time.

Blue-Surf has added a feature that I’ve been wanting to see, downline statistics. Now you can see how many pages people in your downline have surfed and the credits you have earned from their efforts. This is a particularly important and necessary feature at Blue-Surf since you earn off of your referrals’ surfing down to 3 levels (free members).

The owner also intends to add the ability to contact your downline, which will be another useful feature for active uplines who wish to run small promotions for their referrals.

StartXchange has changed its surfbar buttons for easier surfing. The owner, Tim Linden, has stated that the feedback he has received from the change is very positive. If you did not like the icons before, you owe it to yourself to take another look.

Recently it was reported that Savvy Clicks encountered a problem with their subscriptions. The issue is now resolved. As a temporary fix, Savvy Clicks started selling 1 month upgrades. This turned out to be a popular option, so Savvy Clicks will now offer both a subscription based upgrade and the option of buying a 1 month upgrade.

Savvy Clicks has also doubled the amount of credits you can win at the bonus page!

Today HitWar is giving away double bonus credits for surfing. It has also added banner and text link advertising to help your advertising even more!

Jan 22

RealHitz4u has added the Hits Connect Site Approval system, which means no more waiting to have your websites approved! If for any reason your website does not pass the checker or you need it manually approved, don’t click the verify button, and the administrator will manually approve it (assuming it meets all the rules).

Blue-Surf has just added a new feature, a rotator. While not so unique, it is another step in the right direction and puts in another feature closer to being in line with other exchanges. Here are the features of the new rotator as explained in the email update:

  • Add up to 100 sites to promote
  • See how many page views each of your sites receive
  • Delete or pause any site in your list at any time
  • Reset the stats on any site in your list
  • Check boxes make it easy to manage multiple sites at once
  • Sort your sites in 4 different ways
  • Build your downline with your referral link being shown

Scott, the owner of Blue-Surf says that this is a very user friendly rotator. I personally do not use traffic exchange rotators (I use TE Tool Box), but with such a claim and knowing this is hand coded, I had to take a look myself. As promised, the URL Rotator is very easy to set up and use. It runs like any other rotator you will at other traffic exchanges, which is great for most users.

William Brant, owner of MaxTrafficPro is deciding on whether to change the surf bar, and he wants your opinion! The normal surf bar has text that tells you which picture to click. However Brant is experimenting with the thought of having you match two images instead.

For the time being, both surf bars will be active and alternating, so that you can compare the two and see which you prefer. Please test it out and see which you like better if you would like to help MaxTrafficPro. Some prizes will also be randomly awarded to those who provide feedback. Let him know what you think!
