The downside is that the feature would no longer be exclusive to StartXchange, and being known as one of the cleanest exchanges on the internet is a powerful attraction.

On the plus side, having the site scanner open to other owners for a fee will create cleaner traffic exchanges for everyone. Although this question went out to members in his forum, Linden is very active here at TEscoop, so leave a comment if you want to your voice heard on this issue if you aren’t already a member of StartXchange.

I’m not going to copy and paste their promotional text to you, here is my honest opinion of what I have seen so far.  By far the compelling point that makes this a must to sign up for is the Surfing Calculator. It can be difficult to manage your surfing, such as determining how many credits you want and setting your schedule. There are some limitations to it, such as how many splash pages you can enter, setting the timer length, and saving settings. However the calculator and scheduler are a great tool to get estimates of how your time is being spent. Plus new features can always be added later.

The extras are still in development, but include some notable features such as links to important resources for traffic exchange users, a reviews section, online conference training sessions, ability to rebrand links, and a meet the owners section.

In all, I see a lot of potential in Surfing for Success. The main tool (the calculator and scheduler) are great new services that I think every surfer needs. The extras being advertised will likely determine the long-term value and longevity of this program, however those are still being put together.

Although I would like to see it more complete at this point, I highly recommend signing up for Surfing for Success. It’s free to join so there is no risk, and it could pay off very well in the near future. I imagine this being an easy program to promote and get referrals due to its uniqueness, and it is worth promoting because of the tools given.

Pay attention to the One-Time-Offer, it is a great deal if you like what you see.

This is an interesting way to rank traffic exchanges, which could indicate how active traffic exchange’s members are. Because the Top Traffic Exchanges list is still new, it seems to be undergoing many changes. When it was initially opened, the rankings were based on page views to the home pages.

As with all lists, it should be approached with caution. Only the traffic exchanges that choose to participate will be ranked in this program. Participating exchanges will have a small button that displays its rank on the homepage. However this is yet another method of evaluation you can use to determine the right traffic exchange for you!
