NewWay2Surf has just launched today after a few hiccups during the official launch time. The big selling point and hype behind this new exchange is its hover over surfing feature, making it a “no click” traffic exchange.

So is it all it is cracked up to be? Well I’ve joined, looked around, and did some surfing to see. The big question is if the hover surfing is truly a revolution for traffic exchanges? The way it works is instead of actually having to click on a surfing icon, you can simply put your mouse over it, and after around 1/2 or so, it will automatically detect which link your mouse is hovering over and move you to the next page. This means you don’t have to actually click on your mouse anymore.

I found the experience to be about the same as any Traffic Exchange. I love that the owners are trying to innovate, but I don’t find it to be the revolution in traffic exchanges that some thought it might be. However at the same time, I personally didn’t find it to be a nuisance either, it is simply a “new way to surf”. :P

NewWay2Surf also features a built in list builder. You can input your autoresponder information from Aweber, Get Response, or Email Aces and enter your own text ad. These will be rotated around the site and allow you to advertise your mailing lists to all members who are in the member’s area. I find this to be a great idea and I hope that it does help members build their list, because that is what we all should be doing anyway!

There will definitely be varying opinions, so I recommend joining NewWay2Surf and see if it something that you would enjoy. You could possibly love it and there is no hurt in at least giving it a chance!

Richard Taylor (The Outlaw Marketer!), who introduced the Splash points system, has just launched his brand new exchange, Traffic Asylum!

I’m normally not too big on new Traffic exchanges, but when it’s an established person from the industry, you simply can’t ignore it. Taylor is an experienced marketer and knows the traffic exchange industry, so this is not an exchange to be taken lightly.

Traffic Wonderland is a brand new traffic exchange that is a getting a lot of attention. This is mainly due to being helped by expert Jon Olson, and the owners’ experience with Internet Marketing. It has grown incredibly fast since its launch, and is already over 1,000 members!

To continue that fast pace, Traffic Wonderland has started it’s first referral contest, which ends March 3rd! There will be $1,000 in cash prizes being given out, with first place taking $500 and 10,000 credits!

HitWar is giving away triple bonus credits today. The owner has also opened a new exchange, HitWarriors and is giving a free 1 month upgrade to everyone who signs up. It wasn’t mentioned if you had to contact him for the upgrade or not, just that he would take care of it. HitWarriors looks very barebones at the moment, so it will be interesting to see if and how it changes as time goes on.

eTraffic Freedom has done a complete makeover with a new design, features, and account settings! Most relaunches don’t feature much except a new design and a lot of hype. However the changes at John MarkseTraffic Freedom look great, and there are a ton of other announcements to go with the relaunch, which makes this worth looking into.

First, eTraffic Freedom has moved to a new dedicated server, which means the speed and service should be better than ever.

Commission levels will also be raised for all membership levels for 2 weeks to help you get more referrals!

  • Free – 20%
  • Silver – 30%
  • Gold – 40%

There will also be 32 prize pages in rotation during the relaunch period! These pages will show up randomly while surfing, so pay attention! No word yet on what those prizes might be. Feel free to post your comments and let us know what you find.

eTraffic Freedom has changed its Freedom Bonus (Letter Hunt Game) so that the phrases are shorter and the letters come more frequently. Each time you complete a phrase, you will earn 50 bonus credits.

To comply with Paypal rules, multiple level downlines have been removed. To compensate for the change, you can earn as much as 15% on your direct referrals’ surfing.

New personalized splash pages should also now be available so that you can brand yourself and promote eTraffic Freedom at the same time.

Although easy to look over, in my opinion the biggest change is the way eTraffic Freedom will use categorized surfing. The categories have been optimized to increase traffic flow to websites in rotation, yet still allow some choice of what types of websites you are viewing.

This is a great time to join, surf, and refer other members while everyone wants to see all of these great new changes at eTraffic Freedom. Also, expect to see a great One-Time-Offer, read it carefully to see if is something that meets your needs.

That’s right, it is about Trafficera again. But it’s my job to report these topics for you, right? First, the big news for January 22nd is that upgrades will be available at 3:00 PM. Learn about the different packages and seriously consider upgrading your membership, the first weekend of surfing is sure to be hectic.

The first day was very exciting, as over a thousand people were scrambling to sign up, update their profile, create groups, and build contacts. I have personally never been into the social networking craze, but even I found myself quite active at Trafficera. Right now teams are currently being built, and it will be interesting to see what kind of teams rise to the top and make a name for themselves.

With the launch came several difficulties. First the fact that the launch was about an hour late! Many traffic exchange regulars could be found at the NetMarketingForum chatting and anxiously awaiting for the sign up page.

Once the doors opened, affiliates were slowly learning that affiliate pages were not being seen at many traffic exchanges. Apparently the affiliate page was not showing through frames (which nearly every traffic exchange runs on). This issue is now resolved.

Finally, make sure to upload a picture that fits well on your profile page. If you submit a smaller image,  it will be distorted on your profile.

It has been an incredibly eventful couple of days at Trafficera, but the true potential will not be seen until the first couple of weeks and teams start to get ranked.

I will be sure to bring you more information as it becomes available. If you haven’t joined yet, click here to join Trafficera and learn why everyone is so excited!

Trafficera has just launched. I have literally just signed up and I will do my best to get you the information about it as soon as possible. For now, just make sure to sign up, take a look around, and start promoting it as soon as you can.

Logiscape is one of the major players in the traffic exchange industry, so it would be in your best interest to get as many referrals as you can while it is in its infancy.

Update: I’ve had a chance to look through Trafficera, and this looks to be a very powerful system. Without going into too much detail, it incorporates many different features, such as a traffic exchange, social network, contacts, teams, splash pages, banner network, and advertising outside of traffic exchanges!

I am truly amazed at how much they have fit into one package. The bad news is most of the features are currently disabled. What you can start doing right now is sign up, and set up your profile for networking opportunities. The community at Trafficera is already starting to get active. Don’t forget to visit the “Groups” section and join Traffic Exchange Scoop.

You should also read through the tutorials and get an idea of everything that Trafficera has to offer. I will of course try to cover the major features here as they become available as well.

It appears many avid Traffic exchange users were sitting at their computers waiting for the Traffic Era launch. However, when the timer finally hit 0, nothing happened! As I write this, it is 3:20 PM PST (20 minutes after the official launch time), and there has not been a sign of anyone being able to sign up.

This will probably be the biggest traffic exchange launch of 2008, so it is disheartening to see so many excited people wondering what is happening. A slow server, crashes, or slow emails may have been expected, but I doubt anyone expected the website to simply not update.

This post will be updated as more information becomes available.

Update: At 3:26, the website had a slight update indicating that people on the advance notification list should use their special links when the sign up page is available and that the main website will be up shortly. Here are the exact words:

“If you came here using your promo code link (that you received from being on the prelaunch email list), you will need to click on that link AGAIN once the registration becomes available – or else you will not receive your bonus.

Thank you for your patience, the site will be available momentarily.”
