Firstly, it has it&#039;s advantage.  This will get people&#039;s eyes on the web sites instead of just looking for an image to click and continue surfing.

Secondly, it will let users know which pages of theirs are more customer friendly.

However, I wonder if users will be clicking a rating just to get activity points and not actually looking at the website.. artificially inflating or deflating valid rates for that web site.  And also, if they are looking at the site to just give it a rating, will it decrease clickthrough rates of splash pages et al?  Click to surf, click to rate, click through to the splash page.

I like the idea, and glad to see some innovativeness.  Very interesting!</description>
