How does an upgrade at several top traffic exchanges sound? Well 5 traffic exchanges have teamed up to give you free upgrades. The following exchanges are participating:

• Traffic Taxis
• Blue-Surf
• Traffic Bunnies
• Fast Easy Traffic
• Rain Forest Clicks

All you have to do is surf and find the random prize pages to win! The catch though is that if you want an upgrade at a certain exchange, you need to surf the others. For example, to win an upgrade at Fast Easy Traffic , you’ll need to surf at one of the other 4 participating TE’s. Or if you don’t care where you win, surf them all!

This promotion will run until August 31st, so have some fun and surf this labor day weekend if you have time.

It wasn’t so long ago that Jon Olson dubbed Blue-Surf the traffic exchange to watch in 2008. There has certainly been a lot of big launches this year, but Blue-Surf has lived up to expectations with high activity and high ratings. It has just celebrated its 4,000th member in under 5 months!

From now on, the timer will no longer display while surfing. Also, the surfbar images will now load in the background so that once the timer is up, the images will be ready to display! These two changes should drastically improve your surfing experience at Blue-Surf. From my own unprofessional testing, the surfing was much faster!

MobHitz has changed its surf ratio for free members from 2:1 to 3:1 in an attempt to create better traffic flow. In order to compensate for this change, all members will receive a 5 credit bonus for every 20 pages surfed. This means that free members can still earn better than a 2:1 ratio as long as they are actively surfing. The ratio will remain the same for upgraded members.

MobHitz is also introducing a weekly surfing contest! The winner each week will have their banner placed inside of the member’s area for one week. Plus the top 3 surfers will win 2 referrals each.

Overall I like the changes seen at MobHitz, but the true test is what the members think. However a similar move was made by Blue-Surf when it changed its surf ratio from 2:1 to 3:1 in its early stages, which ended up being a great decision.
