Genie Traffic, a new traffic exchange owned by Jack Schafer, had a solid launch. However this week someone hacked the server and installed a hidden Iframe on the homepage. Genie Traffic‘s host updated the server to prevent this from happening again and those changes caused someone problems with the traffic exchange script. As a result, users were unable to log in yesterday.
These problems were all taken care of quickly and everythig is running smoothly again. To my knowledge, no accounts appear to be affected by this ordeal. If you experienced differently, please let us know.
Hopefully this does not occur again in the future.

AdvertisingKnowHow has changed their surfbar sometime within the last week. To my knowledge this change was unannounced.
For those unfamiliar with the old surf bar, it would scroll onto the page in random places. Personally I did not like surfing there due to the slower loading times, buttons hiding on certain websites, plus it obscured the view of websites you were viewing.
The surfbar is now stationary like most other exchanges, which eliminates all of the problems I just mentioned. I feel this is a great change for AdvertisingKnowHow and makes it much more user friendly than in the recent past.
If you didn’t like AdvertisingKnowHow before, I highly recommend you give it another chance. With strong delivery, some great features, and the improved surfbar, I know I will be spending a lot more time here.

No catchy title this time! Blue-Surf is a brand new traffic exchange that is getting attention lately due to Jon Olsen, a highly recognized expert for traffic exchanges. He has mentioned that this is an exchange to watch because it has a lot of great potential.
This is primarily due to the custom script written by the owner of Blue-Surf. This gives it huge potential for the future, much like StartXchange’s custom script written by Tim Linden.
Whether or not the owner is willing and capable of bringing Blue-Surf up to that level, remains to be seen. But the future does look bright in the short term with its early publicity. The owner has released the first weekly update, added some splash pages, changed the design, and changed a few things around already. 234 members have joined this past week, which is great growth for a new traffic exchange.
You can visit Blue-Surf here.

Jack Schafer, the owner of Hit Pirate, has opened his 2nd traffic exchange, Genie Traffic. This is the exact opposite of most of the newer traffic exchanges out there.
He promises Genie Traffic to go back to the simpler days when traffic exchanges were designed solely to get you traffic. That means no downline builder, hidden bonuses, or other features that may be confusing.
Some other Traffic Exchange owners have been questioned for opening multiple traffic exchanges as a way to milk customers. Jack Schafer addresses this issue immediately, stating that this will be his last traffic exchange. He is quoted as saying:
“No worries, I have no intentions of becoming a serial TE owner. I have ran HP for 3 years now and have created what I believe to be a sound advertising resource in it. While I do have plans for opening more sites, this will be my final TE.”
You can find his entire post in context at his Hit Pirate Blog:

Logiscape recently let its members know to prepare for the coming of Trafficera in 2008. It is also making this information public by advertising at some of the more popular traffic exchanges.
Personally, I’ve spotted Trafficera pages being displayed at all of the traffic exchanges owned or partly owned by Jon Olson, “The Traffic Exchange Guy.” Those exchanges include ILoveHits, SWAT Traffic, and Click Crazey.
Edit: I have now seen Trafficera also being advertised on Traffic-Splash, Dragon Surf, and StartXchange.

Today I received an E-mail from Logiscape about the upcoming program Trafficera. It was pretty vauge in terms of what Trafficera actually is, however the promises they make sound incredible. Given Logiscape’s track record with TS25, Traffic Pods, and Hit Pulse, Trafficera should be something we all look forward to. Here is a copy of the e-mail:
